For ffs, he has a life other than Larry stuff. You all are bringing Larry in everything. Believe me, Its getting super annoying now. He never said anything about this song & what its about particularly. I don’t want to disrespect anyone who believes that Harry and Louis were/are in a relationship, I’m just sharing what I think. And I’m sure it’s required a lot of bravery from both of them to endure that. She has had to deal with a lot of hate, and even threats, because of her relationship with Louis. Don’t immediately assume that because this song is about bravery in a relationship that this song isn’t about Eleanor. In regards to the whole “is this song about larry” debate, I think it could go either way. I myself am bisexual and can personally vouch for the fact that both hetero and homosexual relationships are difficult and require effort and bravery. But saying that people in heterosexual relationships have nothing to be brave about is untrue. Of course people in lgbtq+ relationships have faced a long history of discrimination, and are still facing that to this day. No matter what your sexual orientation is, loving someone will always be a battle of emotions and external struggle. Novemat 3:41 I see what you’re saying, but I have to disagree. That’s my take as wrong as others may think I might be. He is now much braver and standing his ground, just as he did with executives to protect the band and now his solo career direction. Perhaps it made him feel some control to make up for his lack of confidence. In interviews, Louis often was indecisive in his answers and waited for the others to give their answers first. He will always need Harry to be in front of him to lead the way, even though he is slowly becoming his own person. Eleanor, his girlfriend, seems like a person who keeps him grounded but it’s Harry who drives him to be better as an artist. People fall in love with his personality and can’t help that overwhelming feeling of being out of control. Harry has that affect on many people… just as Michael Jackson did. Whether it was romantic is up for debate. To me he sounds like a very confused boy who took on being a man at a very early age and there’s resentment behind that. It’s too hard to put yourself out there because of past disappointments and loss. It’s as if he’s saying only love if you’re willing to get hurt but also it’s a solo song and he never cared for love. Why would Louis choose to have this song as the final song on his album? It’s a big statement saying love is a solo song and only for the brave.
